My second soldering project: Wi-Fi Weather Station

I finally finished the mini, wi-fi weather station from Adafruit! This project was the reason I learned how to solder last week.

Since I didn't have any of the equipment to build this, I bought Adafruit's Electronics Toolkit.

I was surprised with how good my soldering job was for soldering header pins to the featherboard. I ended up buying jumper wires to connect the breakout switch:

The connectors made it challenging to close the lid since space is limited. I ended up routing the wires under the HAT and the male connectors had to bend a little to fit.

The only gripe I have about the project, is that the instructions were not really clear about how to incorporate the switch. It could've been more explanatory for beginners. However, the forum administrator, Mike, at Adafruit was very helpful and informative. If I ever build this again, the next time I'll cut and solder the switch wires instead of using jumper wires.
