Building the Parallax Boe-Bot robot

Two days ago, my co-worker Andy introduced my 7-year old son Alex to the Parallax Boe-Bot robot at family day at work. Thanks to the magic of Amazon Prime, we got our own kit and built it!

Andy had customized his bot by painting the frame red. Alex liked this idea, so we spray painted ours metallic cobalt blue.
