F# goes from research to product

S. Somasegar (Microsoft Corporate VP, Developer Division) announced today that F# is going to be “productized”.
This is really great news! I'm glad Microsoft decided to promote the language. As with many research projects, I was afraid that it would fade away, or that some of its features would've been cherry–picked and rolled into C#. It's good to see that it will see the light of day now.
